AYG

Hey hey guys,

Another sunday has passed us so quickly...but i guess, it might be happy for some of us might be sad for some of us as we just have volleyball only two days ago? Haha...Ok, some good news to spread around, we have some newcomers joining us last sunday, there are two of them. One is called Micheal from C. Republic, another is called Feng from Singapore. Talked with them, had a good chat though although my communication has some problems but it went off good.

Hope they like volleyball after that session...haha...although they say they are rusty or first timer. I believe the more you come down, the more you train n ask people how to improve, you will improved in skills, stamina etc. =)

This week is a big event, those who love beach volleyball. There is AYG ( Asian Youth Game) going on, it is for youths from the international ASIA..so if you are interested, they are starting the competition Tml and ending on Sunday. I only know it will be at siloso beach, other details I do not know at all. Sorry folks, but it will be an eye opener for most of you out there who love volleyball. I might be on the TV ( if there is a chance) as i am the Linejudge ( not well-trained though.)

Sorry there is no pictures lately but jason took some and post in facebook. If you like to add us in facebook, do let me know so that i can tag, but if you guys prefer to look at it in the blog. So post a note in the tagboard on the left side of the blog.

rubbish clear pls

Hey guys,

Sometimes must update and comment on some good and bad stuff that I have seen. If not, things might get worsen if not handle well. Hope you guys know that TBCC is really kind enough to give us a free court to play on every sunday. So lets try to keep the environment clean for them after use.

- The area is generally filled with cups and bottles after the games.
Comment: Guys, please clear up your rubbish and don't leave it around. Although your cleaning is 1% but if everyone does it, this makes the CC clean.

Comment: Smokers, i like to say keep up the good job of smoking at the side of the CC ( I am not encouraging more people to smoke, ya...) so people can smell less 2nd-hand. =)

This is just a gentle reminder to all that if everyone play a part to be clean (green), this place might be better.

One small note to Ray: Hey chef, you are improving in your reflexes. Good job...nevertheless, let us learn from Ray but try not to get injured too much. Sign off 7-up~

referee POP

Hey hey~~

Its me again 7-up. Last Sunday, I did not went down to Tiong Bahru but i heard from json that the attendence was quite gd with relatively 3 teams...i must say, Tiong Bahru Volleyball is pickin up even w/o much regulars, there will still be people going down to play volleyball...what a passion eh...hahaha...

Ok, why i never go down? The reason is because Both Alvin(s) and me went for referee course. Wat referee course? It is the FIVB beach volleyball referee course. The good news is that all 3 of us passed out with flying colors. I suppose we are overthrilled by the fact we passed out as the test was quite hard and the practical seems abit hard. One more point, i was kana arrowed for referee a few times...Hmm...dono wat i did wrong but it was quite an experience. 1st referee is better than 2nd referee...haha...

If you guys like to ask abt BVB rules, you can just drop your question, maybe we can try to answer. =) The next BVB referee course will not be so soon but nevertheless, people out there don be sad, I heard there is a indoor referee course coming up soon, ya? Hope you guys feel excitied abt it. However, it is VAS certified if you guys don mind. haha...

I will be heading down this week, so I suppose there will be more pics uploaded. So hang on guys...
