NTUC Club is a recreational and events arm of the NTUC, the Labour Movement in Singapore. U Sports, a department in NTUC Club, organizes sporting events for our Affiliate Unions and members as a way of engaging and building sporting communities. Included in these events are Open categories for non-NTUC members to participate.
INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN NTUC CLUB U SPORTS BEACH GAMES 2009
As part of our programmes, we organize the annual U Games, an inter-union sports competition comprising various sports and activities from July to May.
The 1-day Beach Games is one of the exciting events on our calendar which includes not only the Union categories, but also open categories with an emphasis on youth participation. There will also be games stalls and F&B stalls for participants, their families and friends. We are also currently in the process of collaborating with other facility operators in Siloso Beach to offer discounts to those attending the event to be able to use these facilities at discounted rates.

EVENT: Beach Games
DAY / DATE: Sunday, 04 October 2009
VENUE: Siloso Beach (Sapphire), Sentosa
TIME: 0800 – 1800 hrs
As part of this year’s Beach Games 2009, we are including a Youth Category for those aged below 25 years of age:
We wish to invite your students (soccer; volleyball teams) to participate in the following category:
CATEGORY: Youth (Open), aged below 25 years
GAMES: Beach Soccer (Men’s, maximum 08 teams @ 07 players/team)
Beach Volleyball (Mixed, maximum 16 teams @ 06 players/team, at least 01 female on court during a game)
FEES: $40 / team / event (NTUC nEbO members)
$50 / team / event (non-members)
* Fees is inclusive of $3/pax entry into Sentosa and insurance
CLOSING DATE: Friday, 18 September 2009
PRIZES (Youth Open Category)
1st : $500.00 + Trophy + Medals
2nd : $300.00 + Trophy + Medals
3rd : $200.00 + Trophy + Medals
4th : Medals

More information will be given to Teacher-In-Charge / Manager / Team Captain’s at the briefing on Wednesday, 23 September 2009 at 1930 hrsat ASTER 1, Begonia Ballroom, Downtown East. More info will be given to Teachers-In-Charge or Team Captain’s when we have received the Registration Forms.
