The tragic story of John

Hey peeps, it's me again! I am here to tell you guys about a true real life story of John. Please control your emotions after reading this story. Here is goes...

Long before nakama volleyball was borned, in the southern province of singapore near river valley, a prawn named John was living happily in the singapore river. It has a good buddy named bobby which is a crayfish. Wherever they are, they will always be together.

One lovely afternoon, John and Bobby were suntanning near the shore of Singapore river. Suddenly, they found some squid out of nowhere which happens to be the bait for them to eat. Being a greedy crayfish, Bobby decided to gobble the squid. At a swift action, the fisherman tried to net the crayfish. John, being a loyal friend, tried to save Bobby but to no avail. Instead, both of them were caught together. John tried to struggle his way out together but the net was made of nylon. Ran of out strength, both of them lost conscious.

When they are awake, John was shocked to find itself in what seems to be a prawn tank. He was happy to see Bobby alive and swam hurriedly to meet up with him. To his horror, he banged the glass tank and realised that he and Bobby was separated by a glass panel. So he carried on living with his life. He made new friends in the tank and finally met his true love. In the eyes of John, his love one is a gorgeous prawn named Jolene. Jolene had streamline body, long appealing "antenna" and most importantly what caught John's eyes was her sparkling and mesmerizing eyes. They fell in love at first sight despite other prawn's objections. They went dating at a corner of the tank. Soon, they realised that the number of prawns was depleting and they wondered what happened...

One fine night, a group of volleyball enthusiasts met up to fill their empty stomaches after a vigorous and exciting game. They decided to order some dishes to share. Chun Khai, an innocent player wanted to order a $6 tofu as a side dish. However, someone commented on that dish as "cheapo". This comment which made Chun Khai infuriated. On impulse, he ordered a $12 tofu with prawn. That someone was clearly happy when he ordered that dish.

Meanwhile, Jolene was scooped up by the chef. In a quick response, John pushed Jolene away and sacrificed himself in the name of love. Realising that John has sacrificed for her, she vowed that she would not fall in love again.

John felt that it was getting hotter and hotter by the minutes. He tried to struggle but to no avail. Its vision started to get blurred. John cannot feel it's body as it is getting more and more numb. John resigned to his fate and laid still on the hot plate. Flashes of memories of John and Jolene sped through his mind. John died without remorse on the hot plate as he knew that Jolene was safe.

John was cooked together with tofu as requested by someone and served on the table by the waiter. Everyone was happily eating all the dishes until something happened... There was one prawn left on the plates. That prawn is the one that died tragically for Jolene. They unanimously agreed that "that someone" should finished the prawn since he is the one that wanted the $12 tofu with prawn. However, "that someone" refused to eat that prawn. The tragic eyes of John stared painfully at "that someone" but he was still unmoved.

After an hour or so of persuading "that someone" to finish the prawn, they still failed to convince "that someone". We explained that there are not enough food in the world and it's bad to waste food. Meanwhile, John was still staring at "that someone". "That someone" still gave plenty of excuses saying that he was very full and that one prawn will make him puke.
Finally! Seeing that everyone was sleepy as it was 2am in the morning, "that someone" decided to end everyone's misery by finishing up the prawn. His delay resulted in many repercussions. Everyone was tired. As they played volleyball the next day, they can feel the effect of the lack of sleep. They could not serve well, spike well and receive well as they claimed that they are seeing things double.

"That someone" was remorseful and he decided that he will not waste food anymore.
The morale of the story is that we should not waste food and time. We should cherish what we have now instead of regretting it when it is gone.
