Hello all,
Last Sunday was a big step and a big mark for everyone, the NEW timing, NEW system.
This is to hope everyone could take note of these few issues to help us sail through the obstacle;
1) Litters - Last Sunday was a great improvement, lesser rubbish was spotted. Keep up the good work everyone, do not stop.
2) Smoking area - As mentioned, smokers if you like to smoke, smoke at a place where nobody can see you all. Thank you for your cooperation, no more smoking behind the fences. Mindful of where you throw your butts..
3) The charge has become $1 instead of $0.50. Now on, there will be a monthly birthday cake celebration and you will be looking forward for new balls.
4) Passion card membership [show CC some support]- We require of 10 person minimally to join Tiong Bahru CC as passion card holders. If you have passion card already, you need not sign at all.
The first 10 personnel who sign up, will subsidize $2 off from our funds, which is only $10.
[Please do not worry, you need not pay $10 at a shot. You will be paying through the $1 fund. We will take note of your attendance.]
Currently, we have
1) Fion
2) Guni
3) Charles
4) Zackiel
5) Chee Hao
6) Jia Hui
7) Qili
A few words from me (Personal though):
I am really very happy that everyone is coming together to help this interest group by your means to get over this obstacle. I really can see each and every one of you de effort i.e. Alvin willing to sacrifice his time to coach, YaYa taking time to make birthday list, Ray trying his best to take shots like mad, Alan using his own time to purchase squeezer, ask his friends to help us out and cleaning stores, Chee Hao offering help and advises quietly and helping in the dark, Jason who offers advice and wanting to save the place and secure the place and Charles, for always advising and take up the initiative to think of plans to help, Zhi ping who donates his volleyball and medical kit and giving feedbacks, Xuan guan who is willing to help even though he might feel uncomfortable.
I must seriously say, THANK YOU, please tolerate and endure these through with me. Yes, there will be disagreement, there will be unpleasant experience, there will be heated arguments but I feel that if we are open-minded rather than narrow-minded and understanding to every matter, everything will be alright.
Everyone is learning, learning to do what is right and when a choice or decision is made by that person, he/she tries his/her best to make the correct choice available to them at that point of time. [That's what I believe]
The spirit for Nakama should never falter or disappear...the spirit of teamwork and laughter together, the spirit of supporting each other in need or in darkness and never give up hope in each other even in time of crisis...That's the spirit of Nakama.
Sign off,
7-up
